Pet urine removal Sydney
Anyone who has ever had a pet can relate to this so well. I remember when I had my first
cat called Tabby. He was a gorgeous little kitty cat. I found him when I was a child. You see
I’d been staying with my aunts and uncles down at the farm. There were two cats, him and
his sister Tiger. Tiger was a smaller cat but my parents didn’t want to keep her. Instead I
begged and pleaded with my parents until they agreed we could take Tabby home with us.
Tabby was a good cat, for the most part, but unfortunately he once urinated on the carpet.
The same thing happened several years later when I owned Scratchy, who I partially named
after The Simpsons’ character, Scratchy (cue the music, Itchy and Scratchy Show)…
I digress. What I’m really trying to say is that yes, we may be a cleaning company, but we’re
also pet owners and we know first hand what it’s like to need to remove cat urine. Carpet -Tech are your experts in pet urine removal Sydney.
Firstly, before it’s removed, the place will smell of cat urine and have quite a horrible waft.
You’ll be quite disgusted.
The first thing you need to do is ensure that the urine doesn’t seep into the carpet so dab it
with some cold water. Interestingly, if you use ammonia based product you could encourage
the animal to pee on the carpet again.
You’re best to use a water and vinegar solution. Vinegar is great for removal bacteria, so leave this for five minutes to soak in and remove the odour.
However, cat urine can be very strong and homemade remedies may not be enough.
We clean carpets that have fallen victim to the smell of cat urine. Due to our experience we
can get out even the toughest of cat, or other pet urine stains. We use only the best
products and our commercial products are stronger than those on the consumer market.
