No, our technicians will perform a pre-vacuum as part of the carpet cleaning process.
Do I need to remove my furniture from the carpet?
Yes, we ask that you move as much furniture as possible from the areas that are to be cleaned prior to the technician’s arrival. Our technicians are always happy to move anything that is considered reasonable but due to OH&S are not allowed to move anything heavy or bulky. Large pieces of furniture that cannot be moved can be easily cleaned around.
Do you remove all the stains?
We aim to remove any stains caused by soiling or spills in our standard clean. Instances where a carpet may have been damaged like dye, water damage or pet urine stains may require advanced stain removal at an additional charge. The technician will consult you on this during the inspection.
Do I need to be at home when my carpet is cleaned?
We understand our clients’ busy lifestyles. That’s why Carpet Tech offers flexible scheduling, including Saturdays. To help us provide the best service, it is helpful to meet our professional technicians when they arrive to discuss any specific needs or concerns you may have about the job before it starts. However, it is not necessary for you to be home while your carpet is cleaned.

However, we do recommend limiting activity on the carpet as much as possible until it is completely dry. Please remember to remove your street shoes first to avoid re-soiling and be careful not to slip when moving from damp carpets to hard surfaces.
Can the cleaning agents used to clean my carpets harm my children or pets?
Carpet Tech uses only non-toxic products that are friendly both to the environment and your family. Of course, it is still a good idea to limit contact with a newly cleaned carpet until it is thoroughly dry.
